    FE Analysis of Tube Thickness Variation in Process of 14-Stand Slight Stretch Sizing (Reducing) Mill

    • 摘要: 根據(jù)鋼管微張力定(減)徑過程的變形特點(diǎn),利用MSC.Marc軟件進(jìn)行三維彈塑性有限元分析,模擬鋼管通過14機(jī)架微張力定(減)徑機(jī)的變形過程。通過研究鋼管斷面上的橫向壁厚分布,分析其內(nèi)多邊形程度;通過研究整根鋼管的軸向壁厚分布,不需進(jìn)行解析計(jì)算,可直接在有限元模型上測(cè)得頭尾增厚段的切除長(zhǎng)度。據(jù)此提供分析產(chǎn)品缺陷、指導(dǎo)工藝設(shè)計(jì)的依據(jù)。

       

      Abstract: Based on the deformation characteristics of the steel tube in the process of slight stretch sizing (reducing), the MSC.Marc software is used to conduct the FE analysis of the 3-D elastoplasticity for the purpose of simulating the deformation process of steel tube going through the 14 stand slight stretch sizing (reducing) mill. The internal polygon severity is investigated via the study of the transverse wall variation on the tube cross section. And on the basis of analysis of the axial wall variation over the full length of a single tube, the crop lengths of the thickened front and tail ends can be directly measured with the FE model instead of analytical calculation. As a result, product defect analysis and process design instruction will be available.
