Abstract:
Based on relevant full and accurate information concerning output, product type, quality, equipment technological level, manufacture technology level and equipment manufacture level, etc., it can be concluded that speaking of the steel tube industry, China has ranked among the world's most powerful steel tubemaking countries.With reference to the post-peak development mode of the major steel tube-producing countries in the world, the production, import/export and profit-making situations of the domestic steel tube industry in the January~October period of 2009 implies that the peak of steel tube industry in the country will soon be coming, and followed by a new period of competition, elimination and adjustment.It is pointed out that China's steel tube giant position in the world needs to be consolidated by means of speeding up eliminating backward products, processes and equipment, and quickening company combination and reorganization, strengthening the unified planning, unified production arrangement, unified purchase and unified management of logistics & distribution in rather large confines, and enhancing competitiveness, lot production capacity of the high-end products and technical innovation ability.
