      Abstract: The discussion involves investigation of relevant factors influencing the velocity schedule of the retained-mandrel MPM, quantative analysis of retained speed VS mandrel-prethreading travel and mandrel size VS tube length as well as analysis of the critical factor affecting the velocity schedule of MPM, the stand pass factor.
