Application of URP Automatic Ultrasonic Testing Machine to Manufacture of Seamless Steel Tubes

摘要: URP系列自動超聲波探傷機(jī)在鋼管高速自動探傷中可一次性同時(shí)檢測無縫鋼管縱、橫向缺陷以及壁厚、分層的測量,具有靈敏度高、穩(wěn)定性好等優(yōu)點(diǎn)。介紹了URP系列自動超聲波探傷機(jī)的檢測原理、設(shè)備結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn)、工藝性能、操作維護(hù)要求,以及在無縫鋼管生產(chǎn)中的在線應(yīng)用情況。實(shí)踐證明,該探傷設(shè)備能夠滿足冶金企業(yè)無縫鋼管超聲波檢測的要求。

Abstract: In seamless steel tube flaw inspection, the URP automatic ultrasonic testing machine is capable of simultaneously high-speed detecting both longitudinal and transversal flaws, measuring wall thickness, and detecting defective lamination, featuring such advantages as high sensibility and stability. Elaborated in the essay are he main aspects of the said URP detection system, including operation principle, equipment configuration characteristics, operation and maintenance criteria, and the on-line operation incorporated with the seamless steel tube-making plant. Relevant operation practice shows that the detection system is able to fully meet the requirements for ultrasonic detection of seamless steel tubes at metallurgical mills.
