    消除穿孔毛管尾端“鐵耳子”的新工藝

    A New Process to Eliminate Inner Projection Defects of Pierced Shell End

    • 摘要: 介紹了毛管“鐵耳子”、“鐵圈圈”的分布形態(tài)、危害及其生成機(jī)理，重點分析了管坯尾端熱定心消除穿孔毛管尾端“鐵耳子”的新工藝。試驗結(jié)果表明：采用管坯尾端熱定心新工藝可有效地消除穿孔毛管尾端的“鐵耳子”、“鐵圈圈”，改善穿孔毛管尾端幾何形狀，有利于裝芯棒軋制，提高作業(yè)率及成材率。

       

      Abstract: Elaborated here in the paper are the main aspects of the inner projection defects staying with pierced shell end that are named in jargon as“iron fin”（the strip type）and“iron ring”（the circular type），covering distribution，harmfulness and generating mechanism.Also discussed is a new process to eliminate the said defects，i.e.，bloom end hot-centering.Result of trial implement of the new process shows that the said defects can be remarkably eliminated，which is helpful for improving the shell end geometric shape to have easy mandrel insertion for rolling operation，and thus enhance both productivity and yield.
