      Abstract: The briefing covers quality of the shell pierced by the three-high piercing mill, the specific rolling failures and countermeasures thereagainst. Relevant operation practice of the mill leads to a conclusion that the three-high piercer is fully capable of producing shells with high W.T. accuracy and good surface quality.
