      Abstract: The situation of the OCTG market in the North American region in 2008 is analyzed,focusing on three aspects i.e.,the rig counts,the prices and the trade issues.Also analyzed is the developing trend of the said market in 2009.It is concluded that domestic OCTG makers need to make in-deep studies on the OCTG market so as to gather necessary experiences for more appropriately keeping in pace with the ever-changing market situation.
