Discussion on Mandrel Pipe Mill Shell-transfer System

摘要: 連軋管機組毛管橫移裝置的型式可分為天車式和地上小車式，詳細介紹了這兩種型式的毛管橫移裝置的結構和運行情況，列舉了各自的優(yōu)缺點，并提出了設備選型的建議：Φ180 mm以下規(guī)格連軋管機組，宜選用地上小車式毛管橫移裝置，可降低工程投資和生產運行成本，加快生產節(jié)奏，方便維護檢修；Φ180 mm及以上規(guī)格連軋管機組，采用地上小車式毛管橫移裝置的優(yōu)勢不明顯，應視具體情況而定。

Abstract: The mandrel pipe mill shell-transfer system falls into two types, i.e., the overhead crane type and the floor car type.Detailed here in the paper are the structures and operation of these two shell-transfer systems, involving the advantages and disadvantages of each of them.Accordingly, proposals for type selection of such systems are put forward.For mandrel mills with size range under Ф180 mm, it is suggested to use the floor car type shell-transfer system which features lower initial investment and operation costs, higher productivity and easy equipment maintenance.However, it is disadvantageous obviously to use the floor car type shell-transfer system for mandrel mills with size range equal to or over Ф180 mm, it should be determined according to the concrete circumstances.
