Discussion on Drum-type and Cone-type Piercing Mills

摘要: 從錐形穿孔機(jī)的發(fā)展歷史出發(fā),比較了鼓形和錐形穿孔機(jī)的變形特點(diǎn)、主要工藝技術(shù)指標(biāo)、投資和生產(chǎn)成本。強(qiáng)調(diào)指出:錐形穿孔機(jī)和鼓形穿孔機(jī)不是彼此淘汰的關(guān)系;穿孔機(jī)機(jī)型選擇要綜合考慮供坯條件、工藝要求和經(jīng)濟(jì)等因素,不能一概而論;配有鼓形穿孔機(jī)或錐形穿孔機(jī)的無縫鋼管生產(chǎn)機(jī)組,都不是生產(chǎn)高合金鋼管的最佳選擇。

Abstract: Based on a review of the evolution of the cone-type piercer, a comparison is conducted between the drum-type piercer and the cone-type piercer in terms of the deformation features, main technological indexes, investment and production cost.As a result, it is pointed out that neither of the two different types of piercers is the substitution for each other.Choice of the proper piercing mill depends on all the elements involved such as billet supply conditions, technological requirements and relevant economic involvements, etc., which must not be taken in the lump.No seamless steel tube plant equipped with a drum-type piercer or a cone-type piercer can be deemed as the best choice for manufacturing high alloy steel tube production.
