Abstract:
Addressing the demands from the West-to-East Natural Gas Transmission Project and other large-scale gas transport pipe line projects, the discussion here involves such issues as the current demand-supply situation concerning typical weld tubular products like the weld spiral pipe and submerged arc weld straight pipes made with UO formation process for gas transport pipe line service, strip grades, update of weld steel tube manufacturing equipment and the possible geographic locations of the new production lines. Also emphasized is that adjusting the production structure of weld pipes and strip used for pipe line manufacture is necessary to meet the need of the West-to-East Natural Gas Transmission Project.
